About the Role
A Kitchen Prep Coordinator (Garde Manger) is the foundation of a Chick-fil-A kitchen, where quality and flavor begin. We’re looking for a full-time, culinary-inspired Kitchen Prep Coordinator to help elevate consistency and excellence in our food preparation. Whether you bring professional kitchen experience or simply a passion for food, this role is about craftsmanship, care, and setting the stage for every meal we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dishes such as fresh salads, wraps, fruit cups, and other menu items with precision and consistency, following Chick-fil-A’s culinary standards.
- Execute foundational techniques: washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients to exact specifications.
- Maintain ingredient quality by ensuring proper storage, rotation, and labeling.
- Maintain prep areas clean and organized, reflecting adherence to strict food safety protocols.
- Communicate with kitchen leadership and team members to ensure efficiency and consistency across all prep activities.
- Uphold Chick-fil-A’s values of excellence, hospitality, and integrity in every task.
Qualifications & Skills
- Culinary experience is a plus, but not required—we provide hands-on training.
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation for consistency in flavor and presentation.
- Positive attitude with a passion for teamwork and service.
- Desire to grow in culinary knowledge and technique.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and precision.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Daytime availability Monday - Saturday is a must.
