Accounting Assistant
Do you like working with numbers and have a basic understanding of accounting principles? Do you have a strong foundation in Excel and the ability to multitask? Are you looking for some flexibility in hours to accommodate your school schedule?

Part Time 18-20 hours per week. There is flexibility in creating a work schedule for the right person, but the preference is for Monday-Friday availability.
The right person is an experienced, hands-on Accounting Assistant who will:
- Provide accounting support to the Accounting Manager and the Credit Union
- Assist the Accounting Manager in maintaining the financial, statistical, and accounting records of the Credit Union
- On a daily basis, post and reconcile credit card reports
- Enter data and prepare various financial, regulatory, and special reports
- Post to, balance and reconcile all general ledger entries
- Research and resolve any balance discrepancies
- Perform bank reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle accounts payable functions for the Credit Union.
This person must be flexible, multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with numbers. No two days will be the same!
Requirements: Some Excel experience, and a high school diploma/equivalent. Experience in a bank or credit union is preferred but not required.
