Position Overview:

This apprentice role will work on our Power and Energy Field team out of our Red Deer facility.

Location: Red Deer, Alberta
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Description:

Basic Functions:

• Repair machines and perform a variety of service oriented functions

Qualifications:

• Willing to work towards Interprovincial Heavy Duty Certification.
• Successfully meet Finning’s educational and testing prerequisites.  This includes: Completion of grade 12 (not including a general equivalent diploma); Meet the requirements of article 5.02 of the Alberta Collective Agreement
• Highly motivated and mechanically inclined
• Strong assets will include:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Previous Caterpillar experience and basic computer skills
