Portuguese-Speaking Production Worker | Orkanger, Norway

We are looking for Portuguese-speaking Production Workers to join a well-established seafood production company in Orkanger, Norway.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in food production, manufacturing, aquaculture, fish processing, or similar production environments who are looking to build an international career.

Your Responsibilities

Semi-manual fish cutting
Machine-assisted fish filleting
Packing and preparing seafood products
Following hygiene, quality, and Health & Safety procedures
Supporting other production-related tasks as required

Requirements

Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, aquaculture, fish processing, slaughterhouse operations, or a similar production environment
Experience with fish filleting is a strong advantage
Fluent Portuguese and a good level of English
Good physical condition and willingness to perform physically demanding work
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Team player with strong communication skills
Good understanding of hygiene and workplace safety standards
Reliable, flexible, and motivated with a strong work ethic
Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule

What We Offer

Hourly salary: Approximately NOK 230/hour (around €20.80 euros/hour)

Accommodation arranged for candidates relocating from Portugal:

Private bedroom in shared accommodation
Accommodation available from your first day in Norway
Accommodation cost deducted at cost price from salary (approximately NOK 5,500/month / €500/month, depending on the accommodation standard)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (shift work is mandatory)

Production Department

Rotating shifts between 07:00 and 23:00

Receiving Department

Three-shift rotation between 04:00 and 23:00
