Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst US Commercial Power Tools. The preferred locations are New Jersey sites (Raritan, Titusville), Raynham, MA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, or West Chester, PA.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Position Overview
The primary scope of the Senior Financial Analyst role is to serve as a business partner to the US Power Tools Commercial team. The analyst will provide critical financial insights and influence business decisions that impact business objectives and proactively provide executive level communication regarding financial results.
Responsibilities:
Lead business partners through all critical revenue and expense forecasting cycles and evaluate internal and external risks and market drivers.
Lead detailed analysis and provide executive communication regarding business results and financial drivers.
Responsible for partnering with multiple cross-functional teams including selling, demand planning, marketing, pricing, and others, to identify risks and opportunities, and drive critical business awareness and decisions leading to improved business results.
Additional areas of focus include monthly sales reporting to senior management, price/volume/mix analysis, revenue SOX compliance, month end/quarter close activities, BVA support, gross profit analysis, and support through system transition.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and support high visibility projects as needed.
Partner with global marketing team to drive strategy through evaluating financial considerations, scenario assumptions, and potential business impacts.
Provide meaningful insights by challenging business assumptions, developing alternative scenarios and educating business partners on financial issues and concepts.
Opportunities to support and lead other Enabling Technologies within Orthopedics as well.
The candidate must demonstrate strong financial leadership by providing recommendations for improving the value of the financial information supplied to upper management and providing guidance to business partners.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
A CPA, MBA, CMA, or other related certification is preferred.
A minimum of three years of finance, business experience or related leadership experience is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
Collaborative and inquisitive style while working with a cross-functional organization with many partners is required.
Ability to apply data and strong analytics to influence executive decision making is required.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with various levels of management and external customers is also required.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required.
This role may require up to 10% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000-$127,650Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
