Your role
- Acts as a global strategic HR Business Partner for the global SBU (Strategic Business Unit) Ophthalmology management team, providing professional HR advisory services and actively drives transformation and change process towards Operational Excellence and performance.
- Steers strategic and operational HR decisions related to e.g., recruiting, people development, succession planning, performance management, mergers & acquisitions and job evaluations.
- Drives the development and implementation of the HR strategy and assists in organization design changes and workforce assessments.
- Leads the HR contribution to the MED transformation agenda, in particular by steering the MED Future Program for the SBU from an HR perspective (e.g. organization, roles, capabilities, workforce and culture), ensuring alignment with business priorities and global HR strategy.
- Drives a high-performance culture by linking talent, leadership, organizational capabilities and incentives to business outcomes and strategic objectives.
- Uses people analytics and workforce insights to support workforce investments, productivity improvements and strategic resource allocation decisions.
- Coach managers in talent and leadership development, managing succession planning processes.
- Supports (strategic) workforce planning based on business needs through the HR analytics.
- Facilitates the implementation of HR processes and programs with global and regional scope, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
- Manages interfaces to local HRBMs, country HR organiztaions and central HR functions.
- Facilitates leadership team effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration across global business functions.
- Drives harmonization and standardization of structures and process across all sites.
Your profile
- Holds a relevant academic degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and a Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred)
- Several years of proven experience as an HR Business Manager in the business and sales environment, with expertise in operational HR-related processes and tools
- Demonstrated experience in driving and implementing transformation programs (e.g. organizational redesign, workforce transformation, culture and capability development) in a complex, international business environment.
- Expert in creating HR strategies that align with organizational goals and drive employee engagement, as well as customizing HR policies and procedures to fit the organization’s vision and culture.
- Proven ability to work effectively and manage teams in a global, culturally diverse environment, with strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving and process improvement skills and the capacity to influence and engage at all levels within the organization with a focus on creating innovative HR solutions.
- Fluent in English and German
