Filinvest Hotel: Quest Plus Conference Center Manila
The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring warm Filipino hospitality, efficient service, and memorable guest experiences aligned with the service standards of Quest Hotels and Filinvest Hospitality.
- Assist in managing daily Front Office operations, including Front Desk, Concierge, Bell Service, and other guest-facing functions.
- Ensure guests receive warm, efficient, and personalized service throughout their stay.
- Support the team in maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and coach Front Office associates, providing guidance to help build a service-driven and high-performing team.
- Monitor arrivals, departures, room assignments, VIP guests, special requests, and other guest requirements.
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with Quest Hotels' operating standards, policies, procedures, and brand expectations.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Sales, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Monitor Front Office performance, including occupancy, room revenue, guest feedback, upselling, and other key operational indicators.
- Support initiatives that maximize room revenue and other Front Office revenue opportunities, while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Assist in reviewing reports, monitoring operational expenses, and ensuring proper handling of cash and hotel transactions.
- Conduct regular briefings and ensure effective communication of hotel updates, promotions, guest preferences, and operational concerns.
- Take charge of Front Office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, genuine hospitality, and continuous improvement within the Front Office team.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant Front Office experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, hotel systems, reservations, room management, and guest services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
- Strong guest relations and service recovery skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused and committed to delivering warm, genuine, and consistent Filipino hospitality.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic hotel environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications and familiar with hotel property management systems.
- Fluent in English and Filipino; additional language skills are an advantage.
