We are seeking a.... Overnight Security Officer to join our team and help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests and colleagues. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, dependable, calm under pressure, and committed to providing thoughtful hospitality while maintaining a strong sense of awareness and professionalism.
The Overnight Security Officer works closely with hotel leadership and operational teams to monitor hotel activity, respond to incidents, and support overnight operations while upholding Lyle’s culture, mission, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Overnight Security Officer – Essential Functions
Patrol hotel property and public areas to maintain a safe and secure environment
Monitor hotel entrances, exits, and activity throughout the overnight shift
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and employee concerns, emergencies, and incidents
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation when necessary
Assist with overnight operational support and guest service requests as needed
Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment
Ensure compliance with hotel safety procedures and emergency protocols
Work collaboratively with hotel departments to support smooth overnight operations
Maintain a visible, professional, and approachable presence throughout the property
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Previous security, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused in high-pressure situations
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Flexible schedule required, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Commitment to exceptional guest service and safety standards
Compensation:
$24.00 -$26.00 per hour
