Content Specialist

Let’s start with the role

The Content Specialist will assist with the planning and execution of the brand’s marketing strategy throughout its various online and offline touchpoints, acting as a liaison with publishers, agencies and third parties and supporting all relevant communications of the local and international marketing teams. This role is focused on a range of content-driven activities, with specific emphasis on optimizing the customer’s journey across our services and our communication channels, as well as contributing to the successful fulfillment of all content-related requirements of our brand.

 

As a Content Specialist, you will:

• Assist with the marketing strategy for Spain, aligning local priorities with overall business objectives and commercial targets;
• Assist with and develop and execute integrated marketing plans across brand, media, performance marketing, CRM, affiliates, sponsorships and partnerships;
• Lead the planning and localisation of campaigns, ensuring all creative assets resonate with Spanish audiences and reflect local market dynamics;
• Plan and deliver the editorial calendar on a monthly basis to ensure on-time content delivery;
• Utilize all applicable content formats to share a unique content experience to members and partners;
• Provide writing, editing and proofreading services for recurring or ad hoc copy requests, for example new offers or products, campaigns, newsletters and projects;
• Generate tailor-made promotional content for external partners (publishers, affiliates, radio, etc.) as well as on-site promotional content on all relevant fronts of the website;
• Suggest marketing copy for main and secondary campaigns, based on channel of use (banners, TVC, on-site, radio references) and optimize existing wording and messaging within a strict regulatory framework;
• Establish and develop good relationships with external partners;
• Work with local and international Marketing, Product and other teams in the organization;
• Liaise with the HQ Content team to fulfill inbound content-related tasks, such as operational content (Customer Support, KYC, Payments, CRM etc.), as well as Betting Terms updates, Legal Terms’ amendments, SEO requests and website/native apps maintenance/optimisation;
• Ensure content’s alignment with the brand’s tone of voice and style guide, produce and/or provide guidelines to publishers for native content creation;

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Marketing / Communications / Media or other relevant fields;
• Excellent command of English and Spanish;
• At least 3 years of agency/marketing experience;
• Ideally background in sports betting content creation and/or experience in sports/online sports editorial;
• Strong understanding of digital/online technology and its application;
• Experience in content management systems (CMS) and SEO practices;
• Adeptness in working in a fast-paced environment;
• Self-motivated, flexible and a team player.
