Field Systems: The Trimble Field Systems segment provides solutions to increase precision and productivity in construction tasks by empowering stakeholders to collect accurate information and manage conditions with cutting-edge technology.
What Makes This Role Great:
In this role, you will serve as a vital link in bringing sophisticated hardware to life, taking ownership of complex assembly, system testing, and diagnostic troubleshooting while directly influencing product performance and custom testing setups.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
- Perform precision assembly, wiring, cable harnessing, hand soldering, and calibration on complex electronic and electro-mechanical instruments.
- Conduct comprehensive sub-assembly, unit, and system-level testing to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate in the design and assembly of customized test equipment to evaluate unit functionality and technical performance.
- Document technical data, summarize diagnostic findings, and recommend product or test station enhancements to optimize equipment output.
- Ensure full compliance with workplace environmental, health, and safety standards while maintaining workstation integrity.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Practical experience in electronic assembly, installation, hardware, and firmware processes.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using diverse electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for technical reporting and data documentation.
- Excellent organizational capabilities paired with strong oral and written communication skills.
