In order to support our engineering activities, Airbus Aerostructures is looking for a
F&DT Structural Analysis Engineer (d/f/m)
In this role, you will contribute to the structural integrity and safety of Airbus aircraft. As a key member of our Structural Analysis Community, you will handle calculations and support our digital transformation initiatives, collaborating closely with design, production and subcontracting partners.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
Your Location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Create analysis models, static and/or F&DT calculations, reports and studies for Airbus aircraft structures (A350XWB and A320 Family)
Prepare the definition of analysis methods and specifications
Check internally and externally created analysis data and documentation
Check relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacturing and support other functions (i.e.: production, customer support) as needed
Technically guide the sub-contracting companies providing structure analysis work
Apply airworthiness regulations and relevant design principles
Define and interpret structural tests for certification
Monitor project performance
Support the digital transformation within the structural analysis department by implementing automation, simplifying tools, and redesigning processes.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
University degree in the engineering / aerospace field or similar qualification acquired in another way
Experience in the development of aircraft structures (metal & composite) would be a plus
Knowledge in numerical calculations
Proficiency in analytical calculation methods (e.g.ISAMI, HSB, Niu, Bruhn)
Solid knowledge in programming languages (e.g.: Python) and data analytics
Motivation to work autonomously, take responsibilities and foster communication with all stakeholders
Open and curious mindset proactively searching for continuous self-development
English fluency in written and spoken form
