The role as Project Manager offers a great opportunity to be part of a winning team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our increased focus on Project Logistics. You will be part of a newly established Operational and Globally responsible team who desires to deliver “Best in Class” service, operational excellence, effective communication, cost awareness and continuous improvements which supports our growth aspirations and the success of our customers within Project Logistics.  

The position is located in Aarhus, Denmark. 

Key responsibilities 

As a Project Manager, you will be a part of the Maersk Project Logistics product with more than 150 colleagues globally. Within the Product, you will operate in our Equipment & Site Services department, where we strive to serve our Project Logistics clients at the highest level. The department consists of 2 Operations Managers and 12 Project Managers.   
The position requires strong operationally freight forwarding skills led by a high level of communication and coordination. Together with the team you will play a key role in delivering on tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Be the one point of contact for our customers into our Organization 
• Coordination and planning of solutions for our global customer 
• Project coordination and execution, including on ground supervision globally 
• Operational Excellence 
• Ability to travel to various locations of execution upon request

You must be well organized with great stakeholder management skills in a complexed working environment. You work well with challenging situations and enjoy having project responsibility where you are responsible for the operation. We value our unique team and are looking for someone who shares our vision of teamwork being the backbone of all we do. 

The strong candidate has: 

- Proven Project Management experience 
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in English 
- Operational experience from a Freight Forwarding position preferably from Project Logistics  
- A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude 
- Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team 
- Ability to travel up to 20 days a year
