Summary:

 

 

In this role, you will provide strategic planning and analytics support for Vizient/Sg2 clients through project-based, fee-for-service engagements. You will conduct advanced analyses to identify actionable strategic insights, inform strategic and business planning, and enhance executive decision-making. You will present findings and recommendations to clients and leadership, provide guidance on strategic approaches, and support the development and mentorship of team members while advancing best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Support project-based client engagements involving system-wide strategic planning, including service line growth, ambulatory network, facility, and system strategic planning.

·         Execute analytical work within defined project scope, timelines, and level of effort.

·         Develop project deliverables, including market share summaries, market scans, market intelligence, market sizing, and service line growth analyses.

·         Perform advanced analyses, synthesize data, develop findings, and recommend strategies that support strategic and business planning and executive decision-making.

·         Apply departmental data platforms and resources, including Vizient/Sg2, state data, and Strata, based on project requirements.

·         Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot data limitations and identify appropriate analytical solutions.

·         Build strong client and internal relationships through effective communication of expectations, analytical findings, methodologies, and data limitations.

·         Determine project-specific qualitative and quantitative data requirements and incorporate competitive factors and Vizient/Sg2 differentiators into analyses and insights.

·         Leverage advanced data visualization and data management tools to analyze complex information and develop compelling visual narratives and client presentations.

·         Perform quality assurance and validation of data, methodologies, calculations, and analytical outputs and resolve discrepancies prior to delivery.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         Relevant degree preferred.

·         5 or more years of relevant experience required.

·         Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.

·         Strong analytical, database, and spreadsheet skills required.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

·         Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau preferred.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

·         Knowledge of the Vizient/Sg2 portfolio of products and services preferred.

·         Healthcare experience highly preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
