Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior-Level Systems Architect to provide technical leadership and guidance to Mid-Level and Junior-Level Systems Architects in the design and development of solutions for complex application problems. This role will support API design, data services, platform services, cloud services, and infrastructure services, ensuring solutions meet user requirements, align with strategic goals, and maintain traceability to the Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to Mid-Level and Junior-Level Systems Architects in the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures, ensuring traceability to the Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise requirements.
- Guide the analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to identify opportunities to automate or improve existing systems.
- Evaluate computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to inform architecture and solution design.
- Guide Mid-Level and Junior-Level Systems Architects in developing proposed changes to solution architecture designs based on analysis of requirements and emerging technologies.
Location: This position is fully onsite in either Chantilly or Springfield, VA.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program, or equivalent senior-level experience as a Systems Architect.
- 12 years' of relevant working experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 12+ years' of relevant, Senior-level working experience in government or industry in relevant areas, including:
- Enterprise Architecture
- Solution Architecture
- Data Architecture
- Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Intelligence Community’s (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG)
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
Desired:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program.
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages.
- Federated Enterprise Architect certification, such as Certified Enterprise Architect.
- Working knowledge of the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
- Knowledge of GEOINT collections (e.g., GIMS) and data management (e.g., NCL) workflows and systems.
- Knowledge of imagery products and associated standards.
- Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience across the systems development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis through testing and deployment.
