The Senior Analyst at Walmart Energy plays a critical role in supporting site development and advancing energy infrastructure projects through collaboration with internal and external partners. This position involves analyzing energy market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and project feasibility to develop effective energy solutions aligned with stakeholder needs. The role requires continuous process improvement, risk mitigation, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. By leveraging expertise in project management and market analysis, the Senior Analyst contributes to strategic decision-making and supports Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainable energy initiatives.
About the team:
The Walmart Energy Strategy team directs the company’s long-term energy transformation by translating enterprise priorities and market trends into actionable strategies and investments. Collaborating across Energy, Finance, Operations, Realty, and International teams, the group develops integrated energy plans, evaluates emerging technologies, and guides annual and long-range planning. The team identifies opportunities to enhance affordability, reliability, and sustainability while navigating a rapidly evolving energy landscape. Members leverage expertise in energy markets, project management, and regulatory requirements to connect strategy with execution, supporting Walmart’s commitment to innovative and effective energy solutions.
What you'll do:

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support site development through project design and execution stages.
• Analyze energy market dynamics, project economics, regulations, risks, and permitting requirements to evaluate market strategies and project feasibility.
• Develop energy solutions aligned with stakeholder needs by leveraging knowledge of local markets, risk mitigation, and commercial negotiations.
• Plan and accelerate deployment of energy infrastructure while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory and safety requirements.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement strategies for continuous improvement and standardization.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices, supporting business needs and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

• Extensive knowledge of energy markets, including regulatory requirements and project economics.
• Proven experience in project management, supporting development and deployment of energy infrastructure.
• Ability to analyze market dynamics, risks, and permitting processes to inform strategic decisions.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
