Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join and lead a hard-working team of associates at our Barbados location. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will ensure safety, quality and productivity metrics are met while leading various process improvement projects and participating in cross-functional teams on warehouse and network design initiatives.

What You Will Do:
Lead a team of 5 individuals, holding them accountable to savings and productivity standards
Oversee logistics activities including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing and customer service
Partner with cross-functional teams in Quality, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to proactively identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to logistics operations
Assist in developing the site logistics budget with a focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics
Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs
Monitor fixed assets and coordinate implementation of approved capital improvement projects in your functional areas
Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports
Resolve quality, service & cost issues
Support oversight of inventory levels
Additional Job Duties as assigned
Position Details:
This position is located at: Adams Industrial Park, Christ Church, Barbados
Work Week and Shift: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, occasional on weekend due to cruise business
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent/GED and 4 years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics or related environment
2 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business or a related field of study
- Proficiency with SAP, MS Access, and Excel
- Previous project management experience
- Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgement, think critically and work well in cross-functional teams
