Lead Door Installer

An established specialist installation company is seeking an experienced Lead Door Installer to join

its growing team in Pretoria East. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong technical

installation skills and the ability to lead a small team while maintaining exceptional standards of

workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small installation team.

• Install a variety of door systems, including:

o Hinged Doors

o Pivot Doors

o Sliding Doors

o Frameless Glass Doors

o Wooden Doors

o Custom Door Systems

• Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard.

• Interpret measurements and installation drawings accurately.

• Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders on-site.

• Coordinate installation activities and resolve site-related challenges efficiently.

• Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work environment.

• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate

• Proven experience in door installation, particularly wooden door systems

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport

• Must be physically capable of performing installation duties, including lifting, carrying and

fitting doors and related products

• Must adhere to all site health and safety requirements

• Must reside in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria or surrounding areas

• Reliable and dependable

• Professional and client-focused

• Results-driven with strong organisational skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing site requirements
