Job Overview:
The Senior Overlay Analyst is a critical member of the Overlay Portfolio Management Group (OPMG) and is responsible for the day-to-day management and trading of LPL's centrally managed platforms. The Senior Overlay Analyst ensures that all accounts are managed in-line with the selected investment strategies. In addition, the Senior Overlay Analyst develops and maintains regular and ad-hoc reports that allow LPL Leadership to better monitor and understand the drivers of the Centrally Managed Platforms. The Senior Overlay Analyst is a leader among the team, providing coaching and mentorship and guidance to other Analysts.
Responsibilities:
Acts as a team lead, providing coaching, mentorship, and day-to-day guidance to analysts while supporting team priorities and operational execution.
Designs, develops, and oversees the execution of trading and operational processes across LPL's centrally managed platforms.
Serves as a subject matter expert on portfolio management strategies, platform workflows, and operational procedures.
Leads and contributes to cross-functional projects, platform enhancements, and business initiatives from planning through implementation.
Research and resolve complex operational issues, escalations, and trading-related exceptions.
Drives process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, controls, and risk management.
Identifies opportunities to improve business processes and collaborate with partners across Wealth Management and the broader enterprise to implement solutions.
Supports leadership on strategic initiatives, incident response, and other high-priority operational objectives.

Requirements:
Series 7 and 65 (or 66) licenses
5+ years of experience working in the financial industry and/or processing in a high volume and deadline-driven environment
3+ years of Fixed Income Overlay trading experience working with various groups such as Fixed Income Desk, Recon, Offshore, etc.

Pay Range:
