Media Intern

Role Purpose

The Media Planning Intern will support the Carat team across media planning, campaign execution, reporting, research, and administrative functions. This role is designed to provide meaningful exposure to the media and marketing industry through real client work, structured learning opportunities, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

The internship offers hands-on experience across digital, offline, commerce, data, and analytics disciplines while building foundational skills required for a successful career in media and marketing.

Successful applicants will be enrolled in the ACA Graduate Programme as part of their graduate experience. The 12-month programme combines workplace exposure with structured learning and provides an introduction to key areas of the marketing, advertising and communications industry, including client service, creative development, media, digital, project management and agency finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Planning Support

• Assist with the development of media plans and campaign recommendations.
• Support audience research, market analysis, and competitive reviews.
• Gather and organize vendor proposals, rate cards, and campaign information.
• Assist in preparing client presentations and media planning documents.
• Conduct category, consumer, and competitor research.

Campaign Delivery & Reporting

• Support campaign setup and quality assurance processes.
• Monitor campaign performance and delivery.
• Assist with compiling campaign reports and post-campaign analyses.
• Help track budgets, bookings, and campaign timelines.
• Maintain accurate media planning and reporting documentation.

Data & Insights

• Pull and analyse audience, reach, and campaign performance data.
• Support reporting through tools such as Nielsen, GWI, platform dashboards, and internal systems.
• Assist in identifying trends, insights, and optimization opportunities.
• Help convert data into clear client-ready narratives.

Client & Team Support

• Attend internal meetings, training sessions, and selected client meetings.
• Capture notes, actions, and key discussion points.
• Collaborate with Planning, Investment, Strategy, Analytics, and Client Service teams.
• Support project management and administrative tasks as required.

• Recent graduate or final-year student in:
