The Position:
Responsible for grounds maintenance and landscaping of the property, including the operation, troubleshooting, and minor repair of all heavy equipment, in addition to regular maintenance equipment. Interpret irrigation and landscaping designs, knowledge of proper chemical mix ratios and horticulture practices for turf maintenance, proper pruning techniques, fertility requirements for shrubs, trees, grass, and the water needs of the landscaping and irrigation systems. Assist with the pumping of waste.
- Ability to trouble shoot irrigation system and be able to perform minor repairs
- Draw, read, and implement irrigation plans.
- Ability to read landscape design and implement design plans.
- Operates heavy equipment; tractors, and sweepers in addition to lawn mowers, hedgers, leaf blowers, and weed eaters. Troubleshoots and performs minor repair of such equipment.
- Diagnoses fungus and insect issues.
- Determines mix ratios of herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
- 1 - 3 years of gardening or landscaping experience.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation skills.
- Analytical/mathematics skills are essential.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written and oral.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities and tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
- Current and valid Oregon Drivers License with the ability to qualify for the UIDC Drivers Program.
- Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available.)
