Job Scope

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing sales personnel onboarding and offboarding, with a focus on operational accuracy, systems management, and cross-functional coordination. This role partners with IT, HR, Sales Leadership, and Sales Operations to ensure workflows for the U.S. Sales channel are effectively executed and continuously improved.

A key responsibility is designing and managing onboarding and offboarding workflows through FreshService, including tracking tickets for system access and sales tools. This role serves as the operational owner of these processes, helping ensure timely execution and seamless transitions for new and departing sales personnel.

This position requires technical aptitude, strong process discipline, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Own and manage onboarding and offboarding processes for sales-specific systems and processes.

• Coordinate with HR, Sales Leadership, and IT to ensure required tasks are completed accurately and on time.

• Ensure timely provisioning and de-provisioning of system access and credentials, including reporting tools, sales rosters, enablement platforms, compliance software, SAP, and other systems.

• Maintain and continuously improve standardized checklists, templates, workflows, and process documentation.

• Identify and proactively resolve or escalate onboarding/offboarding gaps and delays.

• Own the hypercare process and meetings for onboarding new independent consultant partners.

• Serve as the primary operational contact for Sales onboarding/offboarding workflows within FreshService.

• Partner with IT to translate business needs into structured ticketing workflows, system access requests, automation rules, and service catalog processes.

• Monitor ticket SLAs and drive timely resolution of onboarding/offboarding requests.

• Optimize systems and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

• Track sales personnel transitions and maintain accurate onboarding/offboarding records.

• Support reporting on cycle times, ticket resolution, and process compliance.

• Assist Sales Operations with ad hoc operational projects and system-related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field preferred.

• 2–4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Human Resources, IT Operations, or a related operational role.

• Experience with ticketing systems such as FreshService, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of onboarding/offboarding processes, preferably within a sales or commercial environment.

• Experience managing cross-functional workflows involving IT, HR, and business stakeholders.

• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of systems, access management, and workflow configuration.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent processes.

• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to drive accountability across teams.
