As Revival Research Institute is growing, we are looking to add more qualified professionals to our team, who are looking for an opportunity to grow and learn with us.
We are seeking a PRN Infusion Registered Nurse to join our clinical research team. The Research Infusion RN will play a critical role in the administration of investigational products and standard of care treatments to research participants in a clinical trial setting. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical research principles, excellent venipuncture and infusion skills and a commitment to patient safety and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer investigational drugs, biologics, and other therapies via intravenous infusion according to research protocols.
- Monitor research participants for adverse events and reactions to investigational products, documenting findings accurately and reporting as required.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide ongoing patient care throughout the infusion process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all nursing interventions, drug administration, patient assessments and adverse events in electronic research records.
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, FDA regulations, company policies and research protocols.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigator and Clinical Research Coordinator to ensure seamless study conduct.
- Maintain professional licensure and certifications relevant to research and infusion nursing.
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in infusion therapy.
- Prior experience in clinical research or a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and GCP guidelines is preferred.
- Additional Qualifications: Expert database and computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and assume responsibility, excellent organizational skills, ability to meet data deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Maintain data integrity within the department. Must be able to work in a team consisting of physicians, nurses, technicians, secretarial staff and ancillary hospital staff. Knowledge of FDA Regulations and Good Clinical Practices.
