Key Responsibilities:

Position Title: Mongolians to Mongolians (M2M) Program Partnership Specialist

Contract type: Full time, open-ended

Report to: Resource Development Director

Under the Resource Development Department, the Mongolians to Mongolians (M2M) Program Partnership Specialist is responsible for driving the growth and sustainability of the M2M Local Sponsorship Program by strengthening sponsor relations, ensuring retention, and acquiring new sponsors. The role focuses on achieving local income acquisition targets and maintaining targeted monthly payment performance through tailored engagement and trust‑building strategies. Ultimately, the Specialist plays a pivotal role in connecting sponsors with meaningful child‑focused outcomes, ensuring transparency, accountability, and long‑term Program sustainability.

25% SPONSOR RETENTION

·        Design and implement sponsor retention strategies that reflect local fundraising realities, incorporating cultural context, donor expectations, and child‑focused impact stories to strengthen long‑term commitment.

·        Engage sponsors consistently through direct calls, personalized emails, newsletters, feedback mechanisms, and marketing materials, ensuring communication is timely, relevant, and trust‑building.

·        Carry out quarterly sponsor satisfaction surveys, analyse results, and implement follow‑up actions.

·        Develop a deep understanding of individual sponsor needs and promptly address complaints or inquiries with accurate and empathetic responses.

·        Plan and deliver sponsor appreciation events, recognition campaigns, and loyalty initiatives that highlight Program achievements, celebrate sponsor contributions, and reinforce their sense of belonging to the M2M community.

25% NEW SPONSOR ACQUISITION

·        Acquire average 200 new sponsors annually in line with the approved business plan, ensuring recruitment efforts are strategically aligned with Program growth and sustainability goals.

·        Develop and implement outreach campaigns using social media platforms, community events, and other partnerships, tailoring messages to different audiences to maximize reach and conversion.

·        Create and test innovative marketing approaches such as digital advertisements, storytelling campaigns, and influencer collaborations to attract diverse sponsor segments and strengthen brand visibility.

·        Work closely with the communications team to design and deliver compelling sponsor recruitment materials, including brochures, videos, and digital content that highlight child impact stories and Program outcomes.

·        Monitor acquisition metrics such as conversion rates, sponsor demographics, and campaign ROI; prepare quarterly reports and refine strategies based on data insights to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness.

25% INCOME ACQUISITION AND TARGETS

·        Establish clear annual local income acquisition goals aligned with organizational priorities, and regularly monitor progress through monthly and quarterly reviews to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

·        Sustain a targeted monthly payment rate (exp: above 70%) by building trust with sponsors, tailoring engagement strategies to individual needs, and proactively addressing payment delays or risks.

·        Provide sponsors with timely, transparent reports on fund utilization and Program impact, ensuring accountability and reinforcing confidence in the sponsorship model.

·        Design and implement donor retention packages and loyalty Programs, including recognition initiatives, exclusive updates, and personalized engagement to strengthen long‑term sponsor commitment.

·        Identify and leverage opportunities for cross‑fundraising by integrating sponsorship with grants, corporate partnerships, and community initiatives, thereby diversifying income streams and enhancing sustainability.

15% CROSS DEPARTMENT COORDINATION

·        Collaborate closely with M2M Program implementation team to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local context and programming

·        Ensure timely updates on registered children’s progress, interventions, and impact stories

·        Initiate and collaborate on sponsor visits and virtual engagement opportunities

·        Share quarterly Program reports, APR, greetings with sponsors based on the final products from the Program implementation team.

·        Proactively monitor and manage reputation risks in close collaboration internal teams, ensuring partnerships and fundraising activities uphold transparency, donor trust, and organizational credibility.

·        Ensure effective cross‑departmental collaboration to integrate program design and delivery with local sponsorship fundraising strategies, embedding them into World Vision Mongolia’s organizational priorities

·        Ensure adherence of WV’s communications policy, standards, guidelines protocols and child protection policy and standards in all activities.

10% M&E AND CRM MANAGEMENT

·        Manage and enhance Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes to track sponsor data ensuring accurate data management and effective internal coordination to strengthen accountability and decision‑making.

·        Conduct business reviews and analysis using software e.g. Share Point, PowerBi, and HORIZON once a quarter

·        Coordinate with IT team to maintain effective technical solutions

·        Register and track all sponsor communications, payments, engagement, and updates

·        Develop dashboards for data‑driven fundraising decisions

·        Ensure compliance with child protection and data privacy standards

·        Manage relevant systems and others and partnership documentation, while leading the development and oversight of communication materials and content produced by the Resource Development Department, guaranteeing consistency, transparency, and alignment with organizational standards.


Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Social Welfare, Public Administration, or related field.

  • Advanced training in fundraising, donor relations, or CRM systems is an advantage.

Required Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in child-focused Program management, donor relations, or fundraising.

  • Proven track record in sponsor retention and acquisition, with measurable income growth.

  • Experience coordinating across departments and managing child‑focused Program.

  • Fluent Mongolian and at least Intermediate English.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualification

  • Communication & Relationship Building:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with sponsors and partners.

  • Skilled in storytelling and impact communication to engage sponsors meaningfully.

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking skills:

  • Ability to set and monitor income acquisition targets and retention metrics.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sponsor data, payment trends, and Program outcomes.

  • Innovative mindset to design new sponsor acquisition campaigns and loyalty Programs.

  • Technical knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and data management tools (e.g., SIMMA, PowerBi, Horizon).

  • Ability to design dashboards and reports for evidence‑based fundraising decisions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft and digital marketing platforms.
