Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Claude, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production and storage areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and entry points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
