Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance and engineering support for the Macon facility.
• Complete installation and startup of new equipment / machines and continue with the maintenance of such installed equipment / machines.
• Adhere to Freudenberg safety procedures and OSHA guidelines, including  correctly and consistently wearing required PPE to work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following corporate and industry safety rules and procedures
• Provide leadership to the site’s mechanics, electricians, and control technicians.
• Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of equipment and processes to meet the business objectives.
• Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis and project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting projects within sustainability, maintenance, electrical, and additional related areas.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of levels of colleagues, from production to leadership, as well as internationally.
