Housekeeping Associate

Job Description:

YOU WILL BE:

The Housekeeping Associate maintains a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment by cleaning floors, sanitizing restrooms, managing waste, and restocking supplies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Responsibilities often include using industrial cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums), dusting shelves, and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe space for customers and staff.

· Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors (including industrial scrubbing) to remove dirt and debris.

· Restroom Sanitation: Thoroughly disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, and replenish supplies like soap and paper towels.

· Surface Cleaning: Dust shelves, displays, counters, and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance.

· Waste Management: Empty all trash cans and recycling bins, replacing liners and ensuring disposal in designated areas.

· Safety and Maintenance: Clean up spills immediately, report maintenance issues to management, and handle cleaning chemicals safely.

· Specialized Cleaning: Wash windows, glass doors, and clean breakrooms or staff lounges.
 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

· Physical Stamina

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

· Attention to Detail: Ensuring all areas meet hygiene and cleanliness standards.

·  Knowledge of Supplies: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.

·  Time Management: Ability to work efficiently, often independently or after hours.
