Cashier and Deli Opening Associate (Part-Time)
We are seeking a responsible and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cashier and Deli Opener. Key Responsibilities:
- Open the store and deli area at the beginning of each shift, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for operation
- Greet customers warmly, assist with their purchases, and handle transactions accurately at the cash register
- Prepare and serve deli items according to company standards, maintaining cleanliness and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the checkout area and deli station
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Restock shelves, deli items, and supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or deli operations preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
