Volunteer Description:

Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.

Limited volunteer opportunities are available during weekday daytime hours.

Interested in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or a healthcare career? Join our Physical Therapy team and gain valuable experience in a hospital setting while supporting patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to therapy sessions.
• Assist with patient flow and waiting area support.
• Organize therapy equipment and supplies.
• Provide non-clinical support to staff.
• Offer a friendly and encouraging presence to patients.

Qualifications

• Interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or healthcare.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow hospital policies.

Commitment

• One 3-hour shift per week.
• Minimum 6-month commitment.
