Aircraft Painting II Job Description:

All individual tasks are performed in accordance with aircraft-specific specifications, such as construction documents, standards, regulations, occupational safety and environmental protection guidelines, etc.

• Technical leadership and coordination of employees (within the shift)

• Organizing and monitoring work processes and production procedures

• Creating documents (e.g., inspection reports, incoming inspections, work plans, etc.)

• Conducting incoming inspections of aircraft and components according to company guidelines

• Documenting (in paper form) and verifying tasks performed by oneself and others • Activities within the scope of documented operator inspections

• Painting/applying primers/topcoats from various paint systems/manufacturers using high-pressure spray guns, low-pressure spray guns, and electrostatic spraying methods

• Applying/positioning (gluing/painting) customer-specific layouts; According to specifications (e.g., drawings, etc.)

• Applying/positioning lettering (e.g., technical markings, etc.)

• Performing demanding polishing work, manually and using polishing machines • Performing touch-up painting using brushes and spray guns

• Operating and maintaining equipment (e.g., paint booths, ventilation systems, etc.) according to company specifications

• Masking/covering (manually) aircraft/components (e.g., Challenger, Global Express, etc.) with masking tape, films, etc., according to specifications (e.g., AMM, masking drawings, etc.)

• Performing sanding work on aircraft/components (e.g., Challenger, Global Express, etc.) using sanding equipment (e.g., random orbital sanders, etc.)

• Performing paint stripping work; Application/removal of chemical paint strippers manually or using high-pressure sprayers

• Manual cleaning of aircraft/components using (in)organic solvents and cleaning cloths, etc.

• Application of corrosion protection agents using spray tools or manually with cleaning cloths

• Performing filling and patching work using spatulas and spray tools

• Applying sealants using compressed air guns, brushes, etc.

• Performing basic maintenance and cleaning work according to specifications
