PeopleTec is currently seeking a Project Manager to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is seeking a Project Manager in Huntsville, AL, to manage day-to-day delivery of an AI system supporting the H-1 flight simulator. You will coordinate schedules, technical reviews, customer reporting, project documentation, and delivery activities while working closely with customers representatives, engineers, aviation subject matter experts, and program leadership. Strong technical writing and communication skills are important to this role.  

Duties:

• Manage project schedules, priorities, dependencies, risks, and key deliverables. 
• Coordinate technical reviews, demonstrations, meetings, action items, and follow-up activities. 
• Prepare and edit customer-facing plans, reports, technical documentation, and other project deliverables. 
• Track project progress, milestones, scope, and contractual deliverables and provide clear status updates to program leadership and the customer. 
• Coordinate day-to-day activities with engineering, aviation, security, and customer teams, including required project and site-access actions. 
• Support project planning, onboarding, transition, and follow-on work. 

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• 5–8 years managing technical development projects, including customer deliverables and reporting. Demonstrated ability to perform the role will be considered regardless of total years of experience. 
• Experience leading agile or sprint-based software development and coordinating technical planning, integration, testing, and reviews. 
• Working knowledge of AI-enabled software systems and how data, models, software integration, and testing affect project delivery. 
• Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn engineering input into clear customer deliverables. 
• Experience using AI productivity tools to support project management, documentation, and day-to-day coordination. 
• Ability to travel approximately 15 percent, with more travel around test events. 
• Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC). 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, a technical discipline, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant professional or military experience may substitute for a degree

Desired Skills:

• PMP certification. 
• Experience with aviation training, flight simulation, or instructional systems. 
• Experience with milestone-based Government contracts. 
• Familiarity with AI/ML, distributed simulation, or cybersecurity compliance.
