Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Operations in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will serve as a visible, approachable presence, help address security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and onsite teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Answer phones, provide directions and general building information, and assist with receiving and routing deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor lobby activity and building access points to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
