Job Summary:

  • At Omaha Steaks, you’ll conceptualize and execute copy across a variety of advertising and promotional channels, including email marketing, direct marketing, our website, social media, and internal communications. You’ll use our brand voice to build awareness and drive sales, while creating engaging, on-brand content that connects with customers. In this role, you’ll also support editing and proofreading, contribute ideas in strategy discussions, and collaborate with our design and production teams to bring campaigns to life.

    Essential Job Duties:

      • Writes copy for daily email marketing and updates marketing managers on progress.
      • Creates engaging and brand-aware copy and develops content for brand marketing strategies, website and online initiatives, blog articles and social media.
      • Proofread and checks all work produced to ensure it is error-free.
      • Collaborates with the rest of the copy team to manage workload and complete tasks.
      • Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
      • Other duties as assigned.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • 4- year college degree or equivalent
      • Marketing, English or related field
      • 1-2 year
      • High attention to detail
      • Strategic and creative thinker, able to understand and write for a variety of audiences and channels.
      • Self-starter interested in creating a great customer experience.
      • Knowledge of advertising and direct marketing principles and techniques.
      • Able to work cooperatively and constructively with the creative team (designers & production managers).
