Out team is seeking a Mechanical & Hydraulic SME to support a drillship SPS and reactivation project in Çaycuma, Turkey. The assignment requires broad drilling, deck-machinery and hydraulic expertise combined with strong project execution and technical documentation skills.
Key responsibilities

Lead inspection, maintenance, repair and recommissioning scopes for mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

Develop scopes of work, work instructions, maintenance plans, material requirements and technical documentation.

Support drilling equipment including top drives, drawworks, mud pumps and pipe-handling systems.

Coordinate work on cranes, winches, lifting gear and deck machinery.

Liaise with OEMs, contractors, class and third-party inspectors.

Support lifting-appliance load testing, certification, commissioning and punch-list close-out.
Candidate profile
-
University degree in mechanical, marine or a relevant engineering discipline.

Strong drillship experience.

Direct SPS, reactivation, shipyard or major-upgrade experience.

Strong mechanical and hydraulic background.

Experience with cranes, deck machinery and drilling equipment.
-
NOV equipment experience is highly desirable.

Knowledge of lifting-appliance testing and certification requirements.

Ability to manage both practical execution and office-side planning / documentation.
