Description
Provides training services in assigned area of responsibility to support the elements of the CES HSE Management System (HSEMS) which may include training related to Occupational Safety, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Health, Environment, and Transportation.
Essential duties include the following:
- Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
- Delivers quality and effective training courses (company and customer specific, where applicable) in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Maintains training matrix completion goals as set by the District, Service Line, and/or Corporate Management.
- Ensures an accurate database of HSE&T training records are maintained for all employees in assigned areas of responsibility utilizing the company standard repository.
- May conduct training needs analysis for employees against company, customer and regulatory requirements.
- May travel to other Districts or Geographic Markets to support training requirements as directed by Management.
- Regularly evaluates the effectiveness of HSE&T training and recommends appropriate training solutions/changes for curriculum to ensure a high level of quality and competency.
- Creates and maintains a positive and professional learning environment while utilizing a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
- Presents information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos or lectures.
- Assists in delivery and continuous improvement of training programs as well as on-going learning opportunities across the organization, in support of the Company’s objectives.
- Exercises independent judgment and discretion in teaching, tutoring, instructing, lecturing, evaluating, preparing and presenting relevant content on relevant topics on a routine, and "as needed" basis.
- Identifies, implements and maintains appropriate training facilities, materials, and resources to support HSE training needs.
- Utilizes the most current HSE&T training materials and curriculums in order to ensure standardization of training delivery and content across the company.
- May conduct audits, inspections and observations for other HSE&T Trainers to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and work instructions.
- May perform Radiation Safety Officer duties as assigned by the CES HSE Compliance Manager.
- Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
- This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
