Position Summary: The Youth Opportunity Hub Program Supervisor oversees the Hub’s daily operations to ensure programming is organized, accessible, and consistently delivered. This position coordinates the activity calendar, staff schedules, transportation logistics, supplies, facility readiness, attendance tracking, and day-to-day operational needs.

Serving as the operational bridge between program leadership, mentors, clinicians, youth, families, and community partners, the Program Supervisor ensures a safe, welcoming, and well-run environment that reflects the mission of the Hub and the needs of the young people it serves.

Essential Functions:


Daily Operations & Program Delivery

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Youth Opportunity Hub, ensuring programming is delivered consistently, on schedule, and as designed
  • Coordinate and maintain the Hub activity calendar, including recurring programming, workshops, special events, and partner-led activities
  • Manage staff schedules and daily coverage to ensure appropriate supervision and program readiness at all times
  • Ensure facility readiness, including room setup, cleanliness, safety checks, and functioning equipment
  • Monitor and maintain program supplies, materials, and inventory, coordinating purchasing and restocking as needed
  • Identify and resolve operational barriers that interfere with youth participation or service delivery

Logistics & Access

  • Coordinate transportation logistics for youth, including scheduling, routing, driver coverage, and communication with families
  • Ensure programming is accessible to youth across varying needs, schedules, and circumstances
  • Track attendance and participation, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Maintain operational records and reporting needed for contracts, grants, and internal quality review

Team Coordination & Supervision

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to Hub staff, mentors, interns, and volunteers
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Hub staff in collaboration with leadership and HR
  • Serve as the operational bridge between program leadership, mentors, and clinical staff to ensure alignment and communication
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Youth, Family & Community Engagement

  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and youth-centered environment that reflects trauma-informed and strengths-based practice
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for youth and families regarding scheduling, participation, and day-to-day program questions
  • Coordinate logistics with community partners, schools, and providers delivering programming at or through the Hub
  • Represent the Hub professionally in partner meetings, site visits, and community events

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety protocols, and licensing or contractual requirements
  • Respond to incidents, de-escalate situations as needed, and complete required documentation and follow-up
  • Partner with leadership to support quality improvement, program evaluation, and reporting expectations

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, human services, education, youth development, or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with youth in community-based, out-of-school time, behavioral health, or youth development settings
  • At least 1-2 years of supervisory, coordination, or program operations experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to transport youth as needed
  • Ability to pass all required background checks

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and logistical skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts, schedules, and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with youth, families, staff, and community partners
  • Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solution-focused in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Understanding of trauma, systemic inequities, and the impact of adversity on youth and families
  • Familiarity with youth development principles and community-based services
  • Proficiency with basic technology tools for scheduling, attendance tracking, and documentation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends based on programming needs

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, language capacity, skills, and other qualifications relevant to the role, in alignment with organizational parity guidelines and market conditions.
