We are seeking a talented individual to join our the Global Wealth Delivery team, part of our People & Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. 


The seasoned leader will be leading delivery centers in India, Portugal, Belfast, and US. The role will be responsible for providing
leadership to the Delivery Centers, and for establishing a strong foundation of quality service delivery, strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement for functional teams across Wealth Products.

 

The functional teams include our Wealth Operations, Wealth Analytical / Valuation Services, Wealth Consulting Support, Wealth Investment Services and Wealth Implementation Support teams. Together, the global team includes a total span of c.2500.

 

The Wealth Delivery Leader acts as an Operations & Technology representative in multiple regional and global business (Wealth) forums as well as member of the Global Service Delivery (GSD) leadership team.

 

The role will report to the Global Services Delivery (GSD) Leader.

·       This is a broad and varied role, encompassing global strategic leadership through to tactical issue resolution with Marsh People & Investments consultants and regional COOs

·       Responsible for shaping and formalizing the Wealth Delivery strategy and for articulating that to Global Services strategy on ground.

·       You’ll be required to collaborate in the identification of potential opportunities for operations’ consolidations and process efficiency gains through transition of work with quality preservation into the right GSD location

·       You’ll be involved in projects (product, technology, process) and practices across the team that support revenue growth and deliver high levels of client satisfaction.

·       You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders by sharing business and process improvement ideas in multiple internal stakeholder business forums.

·       You’ll also sponsor the implementation of innovative practices in the team that support the delivery of the Wealth Products’ portfolio.

We will count on you to:

  • Developing the strategic vision for Wealth Delivery Business: The individual in this role will be responsible for shaping and formalizing the Wealth Delivery strategy, and for articulating that strategy on the ground. He/she/they will also own and drive the execution of the strategy and will play a key role in positioning Wealth Delivery as a strong component of the overall global strategy.
  • Providing leadership to the Wealth - GSD organization. The position will hold the responsibility for leading the successful, timely, reliable, cost effective and quality delivery of offshored business processes from GSD Delivery Centers located in India, Portugal, Belfast, and US. Critically, he/she/they will provide leadership to drive targeted outcomes, and will lead, manage, and coordinate all talent, resources, and projects to deliver high quality client services resulting in client retention, referrals and client services growth.
  • Driving change management initiatives. The individual will be responsible for initiating, designing, and executing strategies to promote change necessary to streamline and improve operational efficiencies, lower delivery costs by adopting lean principles, and improve the profitability for the business. In particular, the change will include driving the adoption of emerging technologies in areas such as process automation, robotics, workflow management and analytics to improve efficiency and drive costs down.
  • Building and managing key stakeholder relationships. He/she/they will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Group and Regional Directors. Role Specification Global Services Leader, Delivery Centers GSD / he/she/they will act as a business partner to the global leaders, and work closely with them to transform business processes, develop new capabilities, and ensure expectations and service level standards are met.
  • Building the Wealth Delivery organization. The individual will play a pivotal role in building a team and a work environment, constantly focused on learning, delivering innovative and high-quality solutions, and providing superior management of services. He/she/they will take the lead in developing and coaching senior managers (including succession planning), and will instill a worth ethic that involves stronger operational efficiency and a stronger client focus

 

What you need to have:

 

  • 20+ years’ experience within transformation/consulting/ operations gained in a multi-national organization with well-developed general management skills and the demonstrated ability to work in a globally matrixed and significantly multi-geography, multi-cultural offshore service delivery environment.
  • A convincing executive presence that conveys composure and confidence in all situations, the credibility and stature to carry stakeholders through influence rather than via the hierarchy, and the highest standards of personal integrity and trust, are key attributes for this position.
  • He/she/they should have the resilience to handle internal pressures and conflicts in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the personal ability to collaborate, operate, and communicate effectively with a culturally diverse group of peers and colleagues
  • Proven experience of managing large teams directly and building internal customer relationships especially in professional services industry.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
