[What the role is]

[LTA-IDE] SENIOR COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN TECHNOLOGIST (1-YEAR TEMPORARY CONTRACT)

[What you will be working on]

As part of the team members developing AI digitalisation for Infrastructure Design & Engineering Division, Senior Architectural Assistant you will focus on Computational parameter design and AI generative digitalisation project for LTA Station Design Criteria. In addition to software development, this project covers a broad-spectrum including design of users’ interface, back-end documentation for troubleshooting, etc.

 

Some key tasks are as follows:

  • Create Architecture & parametric geometry engine using softwares like Grasshopper, Rhino, Python and other Surrogates, etc.
  • Create Users Interface with WOG integration and Establish Users Interface; trials and testings; integration with WOG systems
  • Document the back-end relationship settings, and so on.
  • Set up user Manual, FAQ & Trouble-shoot, Explore & create template and more

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline, with at least two years of relevant experience including one product taken through to production use.
  • Participate in team discussion, coordinate workshop, carry out documentations, and consolidate research findings
  • Rhino, Grasshopper and Rhino.Compute to a professional standard, including RhinoCommon / C# or GHPython, and the ability to debug a headless Grasshopper service.
  • Strong full-stack development — JavaScript/TypeScript to a high standard plus one back-end language; API design; state management in a complex single-screen application.
