Under general direction, compiles, verifies, analyzes, reconciles, and resolves energy and CAISO statements financial transaction discrepancies; compiles Energy Imbalance Market (EIM)/Energy Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) data, conducts financial risk assessments and complex financial analysis, recovery and independently makes decisions of major impact involving the contract disputes, financial negotiations, and settlements resolution; analysis market performance on a daily basis; monetizes and tracks transactions, evaluates billing terms included in potential contracts; serve as the technical expert for all settlements functions within the energy market; ensures District complies with regulations, policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, economics or related degree and three years of increasingly responsible professional power market settlements, energy accounting, financial analysis, and/or economic modeling experience including energy market, trading, risk and trends analysis.
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required of increasingly responsible professional power market settlements, energy accounting, financial analysis, and/or economic modeling experience including energy market, trading, risk and trends analysis.
