Enterprise Segment Marketing Strategy Lead

Description -

Job description

As the world's #1 manufacturer of printers and PCs, HP creates technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. HP's Office Print Solutions division is evolving, growing beyond hardware into a broader portfolio of enterprise workflow solutions that help businesses digitize, secure, and streamline how work gets done - and we're looking for a Enterprise Segment Marketing Strategy Lead to translate business priorities and customer insights into focused marketing strategies that drive growth.

In this role, you'll take the segment business strategy, market intelligence, customer insights, and business priorities and translate them into a clear, differentiated marketing strategy. You'll define the marketing job to be done, identify the audiences and customer needs that matter most, shape the customer journey, and determine where marketing can have the greatest impact.

You'll turn that strategy into actionable marketing plans, briefs, and channel priorities, and orchestrate cross-functional teams across Media, Communications, hp.com, Channel, and Integrated Marketing & Creative. You'll connect customer insight and marketing effectiveness to business outcomes, ensuring that marketing is focused, measurable, and relevant to the moments that matter in the customer journey.

How You'll Make an Impact

Marketing Strategy & Growth Planning

·  Translate business strategy into marketing strategy: use segment business priorities, market dynamics, industry trends, customer insights, and performance data to define the marketing strategy, priorities, and areas of focus for the segment.

·  Define the marketing job to be done: identify what marketing needs to change, influence, or enable with priority audiences in order to support segment growth - from awareness and consideration through conversion, loyalty, and advocacy.

·  Identify marketing growth opportunities: turn customer, category, channel, and competitive insights into opportunities for marketing to increase engagement, consideration, demand, and preference.

·  Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans: translate strategy into clear objectives, audiences, priorities, channel roles, initiatives, and measures that guide global and local marketing activation.

Customer Journey, Audience & Marketing Effectiveness

·  Define priority audiences: segment audiences based on customer value, needs, behaviors, decision dynamics, and the role they play in the buying journey.

·  Define customer needs and journeys: bring together research, behavioral data, and market insight to understand customer needs, barriers, triggers, and key moments of choice across the journey.

·  Identify where marketing can win: determine the moments, messages, experiences, and channels where marketing can most effectively influence customer behavior.

·  Set marketing success metrics: define KPIs and measurement frameworks that connect marketing activity to customer, brand, demand, and business outcomes.

·  Optimize based on evidence: use performance data, customer feedback, and market signals to refine marketing priorities, investment, and activation.

PESO & Marketing Orchestration

·  Own the PESO strategy: define how paid, earned, shared, and owned channels work together to deliver the segment marketing strategy.

·  Orchestrate cross-functional teams: align Media, Communications, hp.com, Channel, and Integrated Marketing & Creative around the strategy, customer priorities, and channel roles.

·  Enable execution: provide clear strategic briefs and direction, while functional teams own execution within their respective areas.

Insights, Competitive Intelligence & Strategic Leadership

·  Turn insight into marketing action: synthesize customer research, category trends, competitive activity, analyst perspectives, and marketing performance into clear implications and recommendations for marketing.

·  Build a differentiated marketing point of view: develop compelling perspectives on customer needs, category dynamics, brand opportunity, and HP's role in the market to inform marketing strategy and activation.

·  Stay close to the customer and category: continuously identify changes in customer behavior, discovery patterns, media consumption, channel dynamics, and competitive marketing that should influence strategy.

·  Influence across the organization: communicate marketing strategy clearly, build alignment across functions and markets, and influence senior stakeholders through strong storytelling, insight, and evidence.

Qualifications:

·  BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

·  5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, segment marketing, growth marketing, product marketing, or a related discipline, ideally in a complex B2B and/or global environment.

·  Strong marketing strategy capabilities - able to translate business priorities, market dynamics, and customer insights into clear marketing strategies, priorities, and plans.

·  Deep customer and audience understanding - experienced in using research, data, and customer insights to identify audience needs, define customer journeys, and determine where marketing can have the greatest impact.

·  Growth mindset - able to identify and prioritize marketing opportunities that can drive awareness, consideration, demand, preference, and ultimately business growth.

·  Strong analytical and strategic thinking - able to synthesize complex information, identify implications, make clear recommendations, and use data to inform priorities and measure marketing effectiveness.

·  Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to simplify complex ideas and articulate a compelling marketing strategy to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

·  Influence - demonstrated ability to align and mobilize diverse stakeholders across functions, markets, and levels of the organization.

·  Strong understanding of integrated marketing and the role of paid, earned, shared, owned in influencing the customer journey.

·  Global mindset and ability to navigate complexity - comfortable working across worldwide, regional, and market organizations and balancing global consistency with local market needs.
