Zuern Building Products is seeking an Inventory & Pricing Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory & Pricing Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate product pricing, monitoring inventory levels, supporting purchasing and sales teams, and helping ensure the integrity of information within our systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, solving discrepancies, and making a meaningful impact on company performance.
A Typical Day in This Role Includes:
- Maintaining and managing product pricing within company systems
- Reviewing vendor price changes and ensuring timely updates
- Auditing pricing data for accuracy and consistency
- Monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential inventory concerns
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Assisting with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits
- Analyzing trends and reporting on inventory and pricing performance
- Collaborating with purchasing, sales, operations, and accounting teams to ensure accurate product information
- Creating and maintaining reports related to inventory, pricing, margins, and product performance
- Assisting with new product setup and product database maintenance
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and pricing processes
- Providing exceptional internal customer service and support to team members across the organization
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Experience with inventory management, pricing administration, purchasing, accounting, or business operations preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work with large amounts of data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize company software systems, including BisTrack
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong customer service mindset and collaborative approach
