Description

Proximie is on a mission to improve healthcare by transforming the world’s operating rooms into connected ecosystems of people, devices, and data.

Our Intelligence Suite transforms operating room (OR) performance, keeping teams in sync and workflows on track to maximise throughput. Simultaneously our computer vision and AI capabilities capture real-time data and detect surgical events – improving quality of data outputs. The result: ORs are optimised like never before – with predictive analytics and automated notifications ensuring patients and staff are in the right place at the right time.

Once practitioners are in the OR, our Surgical Suite enables real-time remote access and creates a secure video record of every procedure; improving training, education, and collaboration. It is an intuitive asset which helps instil a culture of continuous learning, accelerates the adoption of cutting-edge medical devices, and enhances surgical performance across the entire global workforce – improving outcomes and saving lives.

Proximie was commercialised in 2019 and is available in over 500 facilities globally. Check out our Founder and CEO Nadine’s Origins Story here: https://www.proximie.com/about-us/

Position Overview

Proximie’s Intelligence Suite is transforming operating room performance. It keeps surgical teams in sync and workflows on track to maximize OR throughput. Using ambient computer vision and AI, it captures real-time OR data and detects surgical events, eliminating manual entry and improving data quality. Integrated with EHR systems, it combines predictive analytics and automated notifications to optimize each day and keep ORs running at their best.

As more hospitals and health systems around the world adopt our platform, Surgical Suite, and Intelligence Suite, we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the next phase of our operating room intelligence solutions. You’ll build on the foundations of the Intelligence Suite, leading the development of data-driven products and features that improve surgical performance, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.

You’ll work with global teams to bring AI, analytics, and EHR data into customer workflows. You’ll define and deliver features that use computer vision, natural language processing, and real-time data to optimize OR utilization, care quality, and revenue cycle performance. We’re looking for a strong communicator who connects easily with customers and builds deep relationships with technical stakeholders.

This is a remote role open to candidates based on the US East Coast, with occasional travel to meet customers and understand their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product discovery and delivery for analytics, platform, and AI features, including computer vision and natural language processing.

  • Use data and metrics to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements in customer outcomes.

  • Maintain continuous customer feedback loops to ensure product-market fit and real impact.

  • Champion a customer-obsessed mindset across product and engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in healthtech, analytics, or AI/ML.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with EHR data models and healthcare data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR).

  • Experience integrating analytics and AI into customer workflows and EHR systems.

  • Experience with healthcare AI use cases such as NLP and computer vision.

  • Understanding of healthcare operations and performance metrics, such as OR utilization, revenue cycle, and care quality.

  • Experience launching early-stage or 0-to-1 products.

  • Experience with LLMs and chat interfaces.
