Description
Content Writer Intern
Location: Mumbai
Duration: 6 months
We need someone who genuinely enjoys writing.
At MetaGO, content is one of our biggest growth channels. We're looking for a content writer to help us create in-depth, well-researched blog articles that educate readers and rank on search engines.
You'll also work with modern writing tools to speed up the drafting process but great writing, sound judgment, and attention to detail are what matter most.
What you'll do
- Research topics thoroughly using credible sources.
- Write and edit long-form blog articles (around 2,000 words each).
- Turn rough drafts into polished, engaging, and easy-to-read content.
- Ensure every article is factually accurate, well-structured, and written in a natural, human voice.
- Optimize content for SEO without compromising readability.
- Proofread every article for grammar, spelling, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to continuously improve our content.
You'll be a great fit if you...
- Have an excellent command of written English.
- Enjoy writing and don't mind rewriting until something feels right.
- Love researching unfamiliar topics.
- Have a sharp eye for grammar, clarity, and detail.
- Can think critically instead of taking information at face value.
- Are organized and can manage deadlines independently.
Bonus points if you...
- Understand the basics of SEO.
- Have a portfolio, personal blog, or published writing samples.
What you'll learn
- SEO and content marketing fundamentals.
- How to write content that ranks and gets read.
- Professional editing and editorial workflows.
- Research techniques and fact-checking.
