Night Auditor

Job Description:

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and accurately reconciling daily financial transactions during the overnight shift. This role is crucial for maintaining the hotel's operational efficiency and financial integrity.

Job Responsibilities
* Perform all end-of-day financial auditing procedures, including balancing daily revenue and expense transactions.
* Prepare and generate daily reports for management, summarizing hotel performance and occupancy.
* Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously, particularly for late arrivals and early departures.
* Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure a positive guest experience.
* Manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
* Maintain the security of the premises by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular property walks.
* Set up and prepare for the following day's operations, including preparing breakfast items or meeting room setups as required.
* Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and presentable.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding guest service, safety, and financial handling.
* Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Job Qualifications
* Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry preferred.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills with an aptitude for financial reconciliation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to pounds occasionally.
* Must be reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
