Description
Director, Engineering & Technology — Applied Research
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (on-site)
Lead an applied research organization that turns early-stage technology into fieldable missile and defense products.
What you'll do
- Set the applied research strategy and investment plan
- Lead engineering managers and technical staff across multiple disciplines
- Partner with business development to capture research and prototype contracts
- Move promising technologies into product lines and programs of record
- Build ties with government labs, universities and industry partners
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical science; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
- 15+ years in R&D or advanced engineering, 7+ years leading technical teams
- Experience winning and running government-funded research
- Active security clearance preferred
