As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support alarm response activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee badges and access rights within a corporate environment.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must exhibit a strong comfort level with using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes proficiency in basic software applications, email communication, and the ability to navigate various digital platforms effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues. This includes effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

• Valid Driver's License:

All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).

Candidates are required to provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.

The driver's license must be valid and not expired, with no significant violations that could impact the candidate's ability to perform job duties safely.

• Alarm Panel Experience:

Candidates must have documented experience with alarm panel systems as outlined in the Alarm Panel Experience requirement (B202).

This experience should include familiarity with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of alarm panel systems.

Candidates may be asked to provide references or documentation verifying their experience with alarm panels.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, access concerns, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
