About Us & Our Mission

We are a specialized Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) consultancy dedicated to safeguarding workers across diverse construction and industrial projects. Operating regionally across Berlin and Brandenburg, we deliver pragmatic, highly technical solutions and foster partnership-led strategies to build genuine, sustainable safety cultures—moving well beyond basic compliance checklists.

We are seeking a proactive SiGeKo / HSE Manager / Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit to deliver expert occupational safety services, lead regional field operations, and act as a trusted advisor to our growing client base.

Role Overview

In this dynamic, field-focused role, you will deliver comprehensive technical safety consulting to clients in full accordance with the German Occupational Health and Safety Act (ASiG) and DGUV Regulation 2. You will partner closely with client representatives, site owners, contractors, and specialized planners—conducting rigorous site audits, attending planning forums, and driving proactive incident-prevention strategies across industrial and construction environments.

Based out of our regional Berlin/Brandenburg hub, this position offers significant operational independence, direct portfolio ownership, flat hierarchy access to leadership, and an attractive benefits package including a dedicated company car.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Engineering & Strategic Consulting

  • Provide expert occupational safety consulting and technical guidance in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ASiG) and DGUV Regulation 2.
  • Serve as a central advisor to clients, developers, contractors, and engineering teams on all topics relating to health protection, accident prevention, and workplace safety.
  • Guide and assist clients in compiling comprehensive risk assessments (Gefährdungsbeurteilungen) and operational safety instructions (Betriebsanweisungen).
  • Represent HSE interests actively in key construction alignment and project planning meetings.

Site Audits & Compliance Inspection

  • Execute structured, regular safety inspections (Sicherheitsbegehungen) and SGU audits across active construction environments.
  • Assess physical site conditions, enforce safety protocols, and verify strict adherence to statutory regulatory standards.
  • Perform root-cause investigations for workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, formulating actionable corrective and preventive measures.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Design, refine, and lead safety briefings, technical instructions, and safety training sessions for client personnel.
  • Maintain clear, collaborative communications with local site managers and project stakeholders to champion a positive, active safety culture.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • Mandatory Credentials: Certified qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) and Safety and Health Protection Coordinator (Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsschutzkoordinator / SiGeKo).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on professional experience in occupational safety, construction HSE management, or related technical safety fields.
  • Language Proficiency: C2 / Native-level German fluency (written and spoken) to handle complex technical documentation and regulatory communications effortlessly.
  • Mobility & Physical Aptitude: Valid Class B driver's license, willingness to undertake regional field assignments, and physical capability for active construction site inspections.
  • Working Style: Self-motivated, hands-on, and highly organized with an autonomous approach to managing client sites.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Academic degree in engineering or an accredited Meister / Techniker background supported by formal safety certifications.
  • Deep, specialized background in German construction site safety regulations and project oversight.

Why Join Us?

  • Autonomy & Impact: Work within an agile, close-knit team that values quick decision-making and empowers individual initiative.
  • Portfolio Ownership: Manage your own assigned client accounts, enjoying high operational freedom and room for creative problem-solving.
  • Attractive Package: Competitive base salary (€50,000 – €70,000 p.a.) complemented by a full-use company car and performance bonus structure.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy 30 days of paid annual vacation to support rest and personal time.
