Job Summary
General Maintenance – Per Diem | Variable ShiftSalary Range: $24.00 – $34.00 per hour; Pay is based on experience
Summary
Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities. Duties include basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling systems, and other building systems to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Essential Functions
• Inspects equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify items requiring repair or maintenance.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs and appropriate corrective actions.
• Plans and performs repair work using building blueprints, equipment manuals, and other reference materials as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
• Performs repairs such as drywall repair, painting, and maintenance of doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Assists with cleaning and general upkeep of facility areas.
• Orders supplies, parts, and materials needed for repairs and routine maintenance.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Personal Drivers License (New Hampshire) - New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles required
Experience
General Maintenance Experience 0-1 year preferred or Trades Experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of general maintenance and trades like carpentry, plumbing, electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning etc.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
