Senior Technical Product Manager, Montreal (Quebec)

In this role, you will work closely with the Delivery Director of Pharmacy Operations and Technology, project teams, Loblaw Technology Colleagues and Pharmacy Business colleagues to ensure projects are delivered in a manner that achieves the business objectives, while following a defined project management methodology, both Waterfall or Agile, ensuring that the solution implemented is both supportable and sustainable.

The Senior Technical Product Manager is accountable for the product strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and performance of technical capabilities that support Quebec store and pharmacy operations. The role works directly with store associates and colleagues in French, translates operational needs into clear product requirements, and develops sufficient Kroll fluency to understand end-to-end workflows, integration points, user roles, configuration differences, and production issues.

You will also be accountable for the overall execution of project processes and deliverables in-line with the project plan, including planning, financial, communication, stakeholder, risk and issue, and scope management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead discovery with store associates, pharmacy teams, operations leaders, and support colleagues; observe work in context before proposing solutions.
  • Define an outcome-based product strategy and roadmap aligned with customer value, operational priorities, regulatory obligations, privacy, security, and enterprise architecture.
  • Translate workflow needs into user journeys, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, non-functional requirements, and measurable success indicators.
  • Own prioritization and backlog decisions using evidence, risk, business value, patient/store impact, effort, dependencies, and strategic fit.
  • Partner with engineering, design, quality assurance, data, architecture, privacy, security, pharmacy/clinical stakeholders, operations, change management, and vendors.
  • Understand Kroll workflows and adjacent integrations well enough to identify the affected screen, role, record, status, data flow, interface, configuration, and failure point.
  • Lead release readiness, store communication, training coordination, rollout planning, support handoff, monitoring, and post-release learning in both French and English as needed.
  • Triage production issues calmly; document reproducible steps, expected versus actual results, business impact, affected users, workaround, and sanitized evidence.
  • Measure adoption and outcomes; use qualitative feedback and quantitative evidence to improve the product and reduce avoidable rework or store friction.
  • Mentor product peers, improve product practices, and create shared clarity across teams without relying on formal authority.

What you Bring:

  • Senior-level product management experience with complex enterprise, retail, healthcare, or operational software.
  • Professional working proficiency in spoken and written French for Quebec store interaction, facilitation, issue triage, and change communication.
  • Technical fluency in APIs, integrations, data flows, identity and access, environments, logging, monitoring, defect reproduction, and release management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with frontline users, convert ambiguous needs into decisions, and manage trade-offs across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong awareness of privacy, security, auditability, least-privilege access, and careful handling of sensitive information.
  • Experience with Kroll or another pharmacy management system, pharmacy operations, adjudication/claims workflows, or store technology.
  • Experience supporting bilingual products, Quebec users, vendors, or regulated operational environments.
  • Degree or equivalent practical experience in product management, technology, business, healthcare, engineering, or a related field.
