What we are looking for
Join SCS Engineers as a Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on Early Careers and help us build the next generation of talent. In this role, you’ll help students and recent graduates discover meaningful career opportunities while expanding SCS Engineers’ relationships with colleges, universities, faculty members, career centers, and student organizations.
We’re looking for a recruiting professional who combines strong candidate-engagement skills with a passion for relationship building and early-career talent. You should be comfortable connecting with students, college partners, hiring managers, and employees at all levels, as well as presenting to groups and representing SCS at external events. The ideal candidate is an organized and collaborative communicator who can build lasting partnerships and translate those relationships into a strong early-career talent network.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll support internship and entry-level recruiting while developing warm talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. You’ll represent SCS at career fairs, campus presentations, student organization meetings, networking events, and other recruiting programs. You’ll also partner with hiring managers and employees across the company to introduce students to the wide range of career opportunities available at SCS Engineers.
This position is based in our Long Beach headquarters office and offers a flexible hybrid work environment with a minimum of two days per week in the office. Travel to campuses, recruiting events, and SCS offices will be required.

- Maintain candidate and campus relationships through the ATS and CRM.
- Track outreach activities, pipeline progress, and early careers metrics.
- Provide administrative support for the early careers team.
- Perform other duties supporting the recruiting team as assigned.

- Experience working with students, colleges, events, or outreach campaigns preferred.
- Sourcing and/or employer-branding experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and attend occasional events outside standard business hours.
