Salary: $100,000–$115,000 annually

Schedule: Fulltime, exempt | Monday–Friday | 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. | Primarily officebased with field visits in Nassau County | On*call participation may be required

BAYADA HOME HEALTH CARE is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager for our Garden City Skilled (GCS) office in Garden City, NY. In this RN leadership role, you will lead the clinical team supporting both adult and pediatric clients who receive high*acuity skilled nursing care at home throughout Nassau County.

Our Skilled Nursing team supports medically fragile adults and children with complex care needs, which may include tracheostomy, ventilator, seizure, and tubefeeding support. This Clinical Manager position is ideal for an RN who wants to oversee clinical quality across adult and pediatric cases while supporting field staff, clients, and families.

What you’ll do

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses serving both adult and pediatric clients in their homes
• Provide clinical oversight for high-acuity and medically complex cases
• Review assessments, care plans, physician orders, and clinical documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Conduct client assessments, supervisory visits, and field visits throughout Nassau County
• Support nurses with care planning, clinical decision-making, complex cases, and changes in client condition
• Supervise, coach, and develop clinical staff to promote safe, consistent, high-quality care
• Facilitate orientation and onboarding for newly hired nurses
• Complete competency assessments and skills validations for new and tenured employees
• Partner with clients, families, physicians, and office colleagues to coordinate individualized care
• Collaborate with the Clinical Educator and Client Services Manager to support staff development, service coordination, and reliable care delivery
• Participate in quality assurance, compliance follow-up, incident review, and performance improvement activities
• Support clinical documentation standards and adherence to applicable regulations and BAYADA policies
• Participate in hiring and clinical team development
• Provide clinical leadership and support through on-call participation as needed

What you bring

Required

• Current, active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience
• Experience caring for adult and/or pediatric clients with high-acuity or medically complex needs
• Clinical leadership experience, such as supervising, coaching, precepting, or developing clinical staff
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort reviewing care plans and documentation and supporting quality and compliance
• Ability to travel throughout Nassau County for client visits, staff support, and field activities

Preferred

• Home care or private duty nursing experience
• Experience supporting both adult and pediatric populations
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, seizure management, or other complex care needs
• BSN or other advanced nursing education
• Experience with clinical documentation systems, quality improvement, or staff competency validation
• Demonstrated passion for mentoring and developing nurses
